Work completed last week:
Randall Road:
- Switched eastbound leg of Acorn to allow for construction in the center of the road
- Excavated and placed stone base for the northbound lanes from Harnish to Huntington
- Poured concrete pavement infill panels at southeast corner of Algonquin and Randall
- Poured northbound pavement from Acorn to the north limits, poured left turn lane at Polaris
- Poured concrete sidewalk at various locations
- Paved asphalt on Acorn and various driveways
- Installed storm sewer at various locations
- Continued electrical work on foundations and wiring for the street lights and traffic signals at various locations
- Continued work on the northbound retaining wall, pouring sidewalk on top of the wall
- Installation of the remaining retaining wall at the east entrance to the pedestrian tunnel
Algonquin Road:
- Paved the multi-use path on the south side of Algonquin
- Landscaped on the north side of Algonquin
- Opened westbound Algonquin Road traffic to 2 through traffic lanes
Work coming up:
Randall Road:
- Concrete lane installation from Harnish to Huntington (2 lanes northbound)
- Curb and gutter installation at various locations
- Continued work on various side streets
- Pavement installation on Stonegate, Huntington and Bunker Hill
- Various driveway and sidewalk construction
- Multi-use path construction
- Continued northbound retaining wall work
- Storm sewer work
- Concrete pavement installation for turn lanes and gaps from Stonegate to the north end of the project
