Update – Week of 5/18/2026
Traffic Alert: Village Road and Angela Lane Closures Now in Effect
The intersections of Village Road at Randall Road and Angela Lane at Randall Road closed on May 4th, 2026, and are expected to remain closed for approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
- These are intersection-only closures — Village Road and Angela Lane remain open outside of Randall Road.
- Access to and from Randall Road remains available via Miller Road and Alexandra Boulevard for key turning movements.
- Closure durations and schedules remain weather dependent and may shift as work progresses.
- Additional updates will be shared as construction advances.
This week starts a very busy phase of the improvements! Multiple operations will be going simultaneously now that the new retaining walls are progressing.
Construction activities continue this week including work on the new roadway and the Woods Creek Bridge:
- Dirt operations continue with excavation activity from Alexandra Road to Ackman Road and south of Woods Creek bridge
- Pour concrete pavement from Miller Road to Alexandra Boulevard, multiple pours will occur this week
- Work on Angela Lane and Village Drive intersection pavements
- Form bridge approach pavement at Woods Creek Bridge
- Continued installation and backfilling of retaining walls
- Continued topping work on newly installed retaining walls
Traffic Alert: Expect frequent southbound lane closures Angela Lane to Polaris Drive while crews work, with only one southbound through lane open on Randall Road at times.
